"It is with great pride that I welcome you to Kosi Kasi. With a Teaching Diploma, a short course in barriers to learning, and over 9 years of experience running a preschool, I am passionate about nurturing the whole child."
Through creative, hands-on, play-based activities, Monique builds foundational skills in literacy, numeracy, and social development — fostering a safe, encouraging space where every child can explore, build confidence, and develop a lifelong love for learning.

Teacher Mercy
Fluttering Butterflies · 2 – 3 Years
Mercy is a qualified preschool teacher with a full NQF teaching qualification and over 10 years of experience working with 2–3 year olds. With a warm and patient approach, she guides little ones through key early milestones — including potty training — creating a supportive environment where every child develops independence and confidence at their own pace.

Wild Animals · 3 – 4 Years
Teacher Lillian is a dedicated preschool teacher with a full NQF teaching qualification and over 9 years of experience working with 3–4 year olds. Her passion for early childhood education shines through her nurturing, creative approach — helping young learners feel safe, curious, and engaged every day.

Assistant Teacher · Baby Unit · 0 – 2 Years
Lungile has been assisting in our Baby Unit for over 8 years and has completed a full first-aid training course, bringing exceptional experience with babies and toddlers. She plans fun, stimulating activities and helps each child reach their developmental milestones — and the little ones are very fond of her.

Julie brings a fun, energetic spirit to the Baby Unit. With over 11 years of experience working across different age groups and full first-aid training, she has extensive experience caring for small babies and young toddlers.

Teacher Caroline assists Teacher Lillian and Teacher Monique across the Wild Animals and Busy Bees classrooms, helping create a warm and inclusive environment where every child is encouraged to explore, grow, and express themselves. She has completed a first-aid training course.
Teacher Tammy
Teacher Assistant
Teacher Tammy is a wonderful addition to our team and assists Teacher Mercy in the 2–3 year old classroom. She plays an important role in supporting our little ones, especially during potty training and daily routines. Teacher Tammy is currently studying and working towards completing her teaching qualification, bringing enthusiasm, care, and a passion for early childhood development to the classroom every day.

School Cook
Lebo always has a smile and loves the school environment. She enjoys cooking for the children and is always experimenting with new menus to keep meals exciting and nutritious.
Oupa Benji
Maintenance, Gardening & Security
Benjamin handles all maintenance, building, gardening, and security at Kosi Kasi — and is everyone's "Oupa"! He has been with Kosi Kasi for over 16 years and cares for the school as if it were his own. Parents and children are always welcomed at the gate with his friendly smile, making everyone feel safe and at home.
